A vibrant, low alcohol amber wine that refuses to fit neatly into a category.

Unico Zelo Esoterico is made for drinkability rather than convention, sitting somewhere between white and red wine with its distinctive amber colour and skin contact character. There are no additions during winemaking apart from a small amount of sulphur at bottling, and the wine is neither fined nor filtered, leaving a gentle haze and a little natural sediment.

At just 9.5% alcohol, it is light on its feet but full of flavour, with mouthwatering acidity, lively tannins and an energetic, savoury edge. More curious than polished, Esoterico is a refreshing choice for adventurous drinkers and works brilliantly with spicy food, charcuterie or anything from the grill.
