Vaccelli Vaccelli Rouge 2022

Domaine de Vaccelli’s 2022 Rouge is a pure and expressive Sciaccarellu from 25+ year old vines grown on granitic Corsican slopes. A blend of east–west and north–south facing parcels, it captures both freshness and aromatic depth.

The nose is perfumed and lifted, showing kirsch, ripe plum and blackcurrant layered with sweet spice and subtle floral tones. The palate is crisp and airy, with bright red fruit, fine acidity and a lightly savoury edge that gives shape and drive through the finish.

Elegant and energetic, this is a Mediterranean red with real finesse. Best enjoyed after a short decant, it pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, charcuterie or herb-driven dishes, and will cellar gracefully over the medium term.
