Vasse Felix Cane Cut Semillon 2024

This Margaret River Cane Cut Semillon is a beautifully composed dessert wine, combining concentrated tropical fruit with remarkable freshness and precision. Produced using the traditional cane cutting technique, the grapes are left to naturally dehydrate on the vine for four weeks, intensifying their sweetness, flavour and acidity. Aromas of passionfruit, mango and pineapple unfold alongside lemon sorbet, delicate florals and subtle vanilla cream. The palate is luscious yet finely balanced, with vibrant natural acidity providing definition and a refreshing, persistent finish. Fermented and matured for five months in seasoned French oak, it offers lovely texture without excessive weight. Particularly compelling alongside fruit desserts, blue cheese or pâté.
