Vasse Felix Chardonnay 2024

Vasse Felix Chardonnay 2024 is a finely balanced Margaret River Chardonnay showing power, precision and restraint with a strong sense of site clarity.

The nose is complex and complete, with rockmelon, honeydew and citrus blossom layered with lemongrass and tarragon, moving into savoury notes of mushroom, chicken bouillon, struck flint and sea spray.

The palate has a weighted and fleshy core balanced by fresh acidity and fine dry phenolics. Flavours of grilled nectarine, roast pecan, galangal and smoked cream carry through a long, bright and pure finish.

Hand harvested fruit was whole bunch pressed or direct pressed with full solids, wild fermented and matured in French oak barriques with thirty percent new oak for ten months, giving texture, depth and controlled complexity.
