Yalumba The Menzies 2016

Yalumba The Menzies Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 is a classic Coonawarra red, showing both maturity and structure in equal measure.

The nose leans savoury and complex, with cedar, leather and dark berry fruit alongside notes of mocha and a subtle coastal lift typical of the region. With time in the glass, it reveals more depth without losing its composure.

The palate is medium to full bodied, with blackberry and cassis framed by fine, persistent tannins and well integrated oak. It carries a firm structure, balanced by a sense of generosity and length.

A natural fit for roast lamb, beef or aged hard cheeses, with plenty of life ahead in the cellar.
