Yalumba The Signature 2023

The 2023 Yalumba The Signature is a distinguished Barossa Valley blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Shiraz, continuing one of Australia’s most celebrated red wine traditions. Dedicated to longtime Yalumba contributor Peter Sawrey, this vintage reveals layered aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry and violet, complemented by olive tapenade, liquorice and dark chocolate. The palate is concentrated yet beautifully composed, with generous dark fruit, savoury spice and finely structured tannins carrying through to a long, persistent finish. Wild fermented and matured for 19 months in French and Hungarian oak, it offers remarkable depth and elegance, with the potential to cellar for 15 years or more. A natural match for roast lamb or aged beef.
