Yeringberg Cabernet Blend 2023

The 2023 Yeringberg Red is a distinguished expression of Yarra Valley Cabernet, reflecting the elegance and restraint that have long defined this historic estate. A blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 8% Malbec and 6% Petit Verdot, it reveals layered aromas of blackcurrant, violet and dark plum, complemented by black olive, graphite and fine cedar. The palate is beautifully composed, with concentrated dark fruit, supple tannins and a delicate line of acidity providing freshness and definition. Matured for 21 months in French oak, including 40% new barrels, it offers remarkable depth, persistence and considerable ageing potential. Particularly suited to roast lamb or aged beef.
