Includes 30% whole bunch with maturation taking place in French oak barrels (20% new) for a period of 12 months. Expressive black cherry, liquorice and blueberry scents intermix with dried herb, smoked meat and peppered earth notes. Rich blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and ripe blueberry fruits are layered across the medium to full bodied palate with a lush, polished feel. Dried herb, smoked meat and pepper characters lie underneath. Velvet smooth tannins with a long finish that’s well endowed with plush fruits. It is a damn serious wine but feel free to give it a chill!
