Marco Lubiana Derwent Chardonnay 2023

Marco was recently named Young Gun of Wine Winemaker of the year 2024 and it's easy to see why. The 2023 Chardonnay is a blend of barrels (some older some newer), from Stefano Lubiana's Granton Estate Vineyard, grown biodynamically on a mix of brown/grey loam over gravel. It is a modern style of Chardonnay, fresh and vibrant with a lovely texture. Delicious now but with potential to keep for years.
