Michel Genet Blanc De Blancs Grand Cru 2016

The Genet family has been making Champagne in the Grand Cru village of Chouilly for more than 100 years. Nowadays, Genet is run by Michel’s children who produce Champagne in the same facility built by Moet et Chandon in the 1960s 
and later bought by Michel Genet himself in the late 1970’s! The family is personally involved in every stage of production, with a natural approach to viticulture and vinification. In the vineyard organic amendments are made and sustainable pest control is employed. Grapes are harvested by hand by their very own team of pickers and each cru is separated so that each parcel can be vinified individually. 
This single-vintage Blanc de Blancs was aged for 7 years on lees before disgorgement. Powerful and complex, it it lovely on its own but can also accompany your finest meals.
